Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students in second grade are especially active. I have noticed more and more students needing to fidget their bodies while learning to best stay engaged. Allowing students to have flexible seating allows them to move their bodies during instruction. This will increase student engagement and participation in the classroom.
My goal for this project is to provide accessible seating to all students.
My students are special because they work hard, respect all adults, and keep each other safe. Ensuring they receive flexible seating will only increase these desired behaviors and reinforce expectations.
