Help 1st Graders Stay Engaged, Organized & Healthy!
Help me give my students necessary supplies to help us stay engaged, healthy and organized! Paper towels/wipes are used daily, and are very useful after students do crafts! Printer ink lets me create colorful games/tools for students

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The items in this project are materials that make the year a success for my students. Every year, these are the items I buy multiple times, because they are extremely necessary.
I use printer ink to create schedule labels, individual visual supports for students, classroom tools and decoration, and engaging signs/worksheets.
Clorox wipes and hand sanitizer have been a fundamental staple of my classroom, even more so during the past few years for health purposes, crafting, and the daily needs of 6-7 year olds! We wipe tables and chairs every day to keep germs from spreading, but wipes also help with clean up after students finish their arts and crafts projects in the room. Hand sanitizer is extremely useful for all of those on-the-go moments. We are also fortunate to have a sink in our room which students wash hands in often, but that means we go through paper towels often and quickly. Additionally, my students are learning independence, so when they spill their milk or water, they go get a paper towel to clean up.
Lastly, you’d be surprised how many uses one can have for a Ziploc bag! We use these for students “book baggies” to take books to/from school and home every night. Ziploc bags help students stay organized, keep materials together, hold their leftover snacks, and even take home lost teeth!
My students and I would be so grateful for your donation for these key items for our classroom. I have also requested paper cups which have many uses for drinking, math & literacy supports, and crafts. Lastly, using white board and dry erase markers is one of my students favorite ways to learn, especially in math and phonics. Not a day goes by that these materials are not used, we’d be lost without them.
