it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our 11th grade classroom has been getting a makeover! My co-teacher and I have been putting in extra effort to transform our austere classroom into one that is an inviting, welcoming, and soft space for students.
Given the stresses of junior year, our goal is to provide a few soft bean bags for students to relax, recharge, and regulate their own bodies and emotions during the school day.
For many of our students who come from difficult backgrounds and family lives, school is their refuge. As teachers we want to put time, care, and consideration into what we can do to make their school experience even better.
