My Project
Hey there! I want to talk to you about some things that could make a big difference for our 1st and 2nd graders. They're a bunch of awesome kids, many of them dealing with special needs and coming from low-income families. We're aiming to give them a boost with a few tools that could really light up their learning experience.
Our classroom is like a little family, and we want our kids to grow up strong emotionally.
So, we're asking for books and toys that help them understand feelings and build friendships. It's not just about school stuff; it's about making sure every kid feels good about themselves and others.
You ever heard of Pop It toys? Those things are not just for fun – they're secretly teaching tools. Our kiddos, especially those who find learning a bit tough, can get a hands-on experience with blending and segmenting words. Learning to read doesn't have to be boring; it can be a blast with these toys.
Some of our kids can't sit still to save their lives, and that's totally okay! That's where ball chairs come in. They provide a bit of wiggle room, helping our energetic learners stay focused. It's like letting them move without disrupting the whole class.
Good old Legos – who doesn't love them? These are not just toys; they're tools for creativity and teamwork. For our special needs kids, Legos offer a chance to shine
