Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have 25 amazing and hardworking students in my PK class who love to explore and learn. We are an inclusion class with 2 Explore and 23 General Ed students. I work for a Title I school and most of the families of my students were greatly affected by the pandemic. Without having school materials, some of my students will have a hard time absorbing concepts thru virtual learning, and may have a hard time engaging.
My Project
All of my students are eager to learn and share their thoughts during virtual learning. But unfortunately, not all parents and guardians do have the luxury of time to sit with their kids throughout the virtual class. Because of that, some of my students remain unmuted on some parts of our discussion because they could not independently unmute themselves. It would be of great help for the whole class, parents, and me if they will be receiving these usb microphones that are easy to use, install and most importantly, manipulate.
