My Students

Can you imagine being 10 years old and being taught in a different way as your parents. They can't help you much anymore with your school work due to new strategies being taught.

Many of my students come from families that have low income and minimal formal education.

About 80% of my students receive free or reduced lunch. Many students do not have opportunities to receive help from family members with their school work! With the economy in the crisis it is in, getting help from families to implement new things in the classroom is just not possible. Please help my students become more active problem solvers.

My Project

My students have the wonderful opportunity to be 1:1 with computers and we recently were fortunate enough to get an Apple TV in our classroom. Students are loving the technology we have, but in order to put it to the best use possible we need a few more things to get the best benefit of the items. We would like an echo dot and a adjustable podium for our laptops.

The podium will allow students to present finding to the class with the safety of placing their computer on the surface.

It being adjustable will help with the heights of students and will provide a great learning opportunity for all students.
