This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love how my students show up each day with curiosity, determination, and kindness. They are creative thinkers, compassionate friends, and resilient learners who inspire me daily. What makes my students truly special is their willingness to support one another and their eagerness to grow, both academically and personally. They are future leaders who simply need the right tools to help them unlock their full potential.

The resources I am requesting—such as mindfulness journals, emotion regulation games, calming corner materials, and SEL activity kits—will make a real difference in their learning.

These tools will help students recognize and manage their emotions, communicate more effectively, resolve conflicts peacefully, and stay focused during learning time. With these supports in place, students will be better equipped to handle challenges, stay engaged in class, and develop a stronger sense of self-confidence and belonging.

The goal of this project is to create a safe, nurturing environment where every student feels seen, heard, and valued. By integrating SEL tools into our daily routines, I hope to strengthen students’ emotional well-being, increase their academic success, and set them on a path toward long-term achievement. Your support will help ensure that every child has the skills they need not just for school, but for life.
