My Project

As a new teacher in a new district, I’m eager to provide my students with the tools and resources they need to be successful both inside and outside of the classroom.

My project includes essential items that will help me build a safe, engaging, and effective learning environment.

For example, Clorox disinfecting wipes and hand sanitizer will allow me to keep shared surfaces clean and reduce the spread of germs, something that’s incredibly important when working with middle school students in a high-traffic classroom.

I’ve also requested various types of markers and dry erase boards, which are used daily for interactive lessons, student-led demonstrations, and small group work. The Crayola Classpack of markers and Mr. Sketch scented markers give students opportunities to be creative across multiple subjects, while EXPO dry erase markers and lapboards encourage participation without fear of making mistakes.

One of the more costly items in my cart is the Classpack of Crayola markers, which contains enough variety and quantity for every student to access high-quality materials without sharing. Another important investment is the bulk snack packs, like Cheez-Its and granola bars, which ensure no student is distracted from learning due to hunger.

While each item serves a unique purpose, together they create a classroom that is clean, inclusive, and ready for learning. I truly believe every contribution shows my students that people care about their success—and I’m deeply grateful for your support in helping me start this new chapter strong.
