My Students
The students in my classroom are driven and hardworking. They know I have high expectations and believe in them completely. These students are great friends and supporters to every member of my classroom. They work and encourage each other and love to share what they are learning. Their love for learning is contagious and it is my goal to give them all the learning opportunities I can this year. Daily rotations are always a favorite! They can work at their own pace and succeed on their own level.
My Project
I appreciate this opportunity to apply for this grant to provide my students with good headphones. My students are open to learning when I include technology in my classroom. I have 24 students and we are working towards one to one iPads in our classroom. I currently have 12 iPads, but very few working headphones. The programs we use need good, reliable headphones to get the most out our differentiated learning experience. At the moment I feel I am constantly having to stop my small groups to troubleshoot problems with our current headphones. New headphones will help my students become more technologically literate in today's competitive world.
