Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
We are a STEM-based charter school in Naples, Florida with 74% free or reduced-price lunches. The families we serve really want what is best for their kids and trust me as their teacher to help make those decisions. The students in my classroom are very loving and caring individuals.

My students are passionate, eccentric, beautiful, intelligent, and all-around amazing. When you look into their eyes, you know that they are eager to consume knowledge. These students appreciate each and every day that they spend in the classroom because they know that they are going to use their minds in the most creative and innovative ways possible.
My Project
The requested headphones and sound bar speakers are important tools in our classroom. My students will use these materials for many different programs. The headphones will be used while the students watch online videos for math and science. Students will use them with our class technology programs. Some students need extra help and the ability to see problems in different ways.
Headphones are a major need for our online programs.
My class is not able to do all the things we could because we don't have a class set of headphones. Right now, we have to share the three I have, and students only get about 10 minutes on the computers or iPads; this is not nearly enough time. If everyone is on at once, it gets too loud in the classroom, and the students cannot hear. Having a class set of headphones will be very helpful.
The sound bar will help us hear the interactive learning that goes on in our classroom. The soundbar will hook to the projector so we can hear educational videos, digital learning programs, and our much-needed brain breaks,
