My Students

I am a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district. My students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. I have several students who struggle with learning disabilities. I am looking to provide my students with a creative and meaningful learning experience.

My students are creative and love to learn.

They just need materials that suit their variety of learning differences. We all learn differently and need a variety of materials to do so. We will truly appreciate any help that is provided with funding this project.

My Project

Our students create some great videos and projects. We make videos and projects for teachers, we also make videos for events at school. Most of the videos are too large to email to the people who want them, though. Being able to save videos or projects to a flash drive simplifies the process of getting the finished product to the right person.

Having the proper equipment to work with will give my students the chance to showcase their creativity.

My students need headphones to hear their own work while they are editing it. With a whole class editing video and working on projects in one room, the sounds can drown each other out, which makes it frustrating for the students. I also have students that need things read to them and they can plug in the headsets to hear it and no one else has to hear it.
