Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
This year is my first year of teaching! I am so excited to be working with wonderful 4th graders this year! I have had the privilege of already meeting my students. They are kind, energetic, hard working, and so eager to learn! My goal as a teacher is to provide my students with the best learning environment I can. A place where they feel welcome, safe, and excited to explore! I can truly say I am so excited to support these awesome kiddos this year!
I would love to give my students headphones and stretchy bands so they can do their best learning!
My students have benefitted so much academically and emotionally already from having a flexible space and now I want to provide them with more tools for learning and flexibility for their wiggles!
My Project
I have noticed that there are many educational programs require the use of headphones to allow students to listen to information, however, most of my students don't have these available. I would love to provide more of my students with the opportunity to participate in more personalized learning with the use of headphones.
My students have absolutely blossomed during my transition to flexible seating.
I want to continue to provide them with more options. Having fidget bands would allow them to focus even when they have lots of energy!
Lastly, the pocket chart would allow me to store the headphones in an accessible way so my students could truly be independent!
