Our students come from a low income /high poverty area of North Georgia. My students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom.

The students are eager to learn and in our technology classroom we work on programs that will benefit the students in their future. These programs include Microsoft Office 365, Power Point, Typing.com, Prodigy, Dreamscape, and Microsoft Word. Typing is a skill necessary to be proficient in most all of the programs that our students will use in the "real world".
My Project
With Flex-phones, my students will be able to use them for many years.
Hamilton Buhl Flex-Phones are nearly indestructible, made from a single piece of EVA foam.
The Flex-phones have cords that are chew resistant. EVA foam is safe, non-toxic, BPA-free, soft and an extremely flexible material. Flex-Phones deliver high quality sound that will never exceed 85 decibels, ensuring young developing ears are protected. The material the headphones are made out of will make it easy to clean and keep germs away.
Every Kindergartner to 5th grader in our school will benefit from having new headphones. Over 400 students a week use the headphones in the computer lab.
