My Students
Have you ever been so engrossed in working on something on your computer that you lost sense of time? My students are so interested in learning on their computer. Technology makes things come alive for them. We can access nearpods, kahoots, and other interactive learning programs making them get excited about the world around them through science. Many of my students do not have their own computers at home.
The world comes alive through the use of technology.
We use our computers everyday in language arts, math, and science. My students love to explore. They love to watch nearpods using the vr glasses. These programs open up their world. They get to go to the Grand Canyon and other places they wouldn’t normally go with their families because they can't afford it.
My Project
I lead the school choir and we need instruments! The students need to be able to express themselves through music. Our school has very few instruments, which means only very few students get to play. We have over 50 students in the choir and only 5 instruments.
My students need durable headphones where they can hear the things they need on their computers.
Our literacy program requires the students to get online everyday. Virtual learning is worthless when the students are having trouble with their headphones.
Doing math on wipe boards is interactive yet this means we need wipe board markers.
