My Project

Our school strives to incorporate many different learning styles, and having comfortable and reliable headphones is necessary. Our district uses iReady for intervention and advancement as well as all diagnostic testing. Students use their Chromebooks daily.

My goal is to provide quality headphones to all students.

K-2 students are small and need headphones that fit them properly. They are hard on things. Some students are still learning how to take care of their classroom materials. Our district tries to provide all necessary materials so parents are not burdened with the expense. Constantly needing to replace headphones is not only frustrating to our young students, but interrupts lessons and student learning.

I am a Title I kindergarten-2nd grade interventionist for reading and mathematics. I work with all students. The headphones would serve 100 children in kindergarten through 2nd grade while they are working on iReady lesson paths, diagnostic testing, and Accelerated Reading. Students also use various websites to listen to stories, learn more about topics, take virtual field trips and play educational games.
