My Students
I teach a Special Education class of 20 students with various learning disabilities and students are in grades 3 and 4. I have students with learning disabilities such as physical disability (quadriplegic), autism, SLD (auditory/visual processing), intellectually disabled, and other health impairments (ADD/ADHD).
I believe all students can and will learn despite any obstacle.
Despite all the obstacles (low income, high poverty rate, single parent household, high crime rate neighborhoods), my students can achieve what they set their minds to.
My Project
This microphone will allow my students to have good audio recordings when producing their video presentations. They will be able to use this microphone to use during presentations, recoding voice overs for presentations, and video narrations. Many of my students feel more comfortable recording than actually presenting their projects orally. We will incorporate the use of this microphone to research projects to record their oral presentation. This will also help students improve their speaking skills, technology skills, computer, and oral language skills. These are skills that my students will be able to apply in a real world setting. Please help support us!
