This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

"This world is but a canvas for our imagination," said Mr. Henry Thoreau. But what if I have nothing as a frame of reference?

My students, along with their pen pals at a neighboring school, are amazing little humans.

Both schools are Title 1 and receive funding for the federal free meal plans. Because entertainment is a luxury, many students have not been to the movies, let alone a magical experience such as the attendance of a spectacular musical such as The Lion King!

My Project

The Pantages Theater has kindly agreed to allow us to bring our students from the inner city to witness magic happen first hand. At an astoundingly and amazing discounted price, 50 of our students can attend this production if we can come up with the funds before September 17th. These seats and prices can only be held for us until then. So please help! Our students will NOT be able to take advantage of this grand opportunity without your support. If we work together and try to get it funded within the first 7 days, DonorsChoose.org also has generously given us a double your money match code to make our donations go even further. The code is valid up to $100.00 per person. So help us INSPIRE our young ones. Help us within the first seven days, using the match code of INSPIRE! We would hate to see this opportunity slip away from our students when it is so close within grasp.
