This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are inner city children from diverse cultures and ethnic groups. They are the greatest group of children anyone could wish for to teach. Our school is centrally located in the capital city and the largest Title 1 elementary school in this awesome city. My students are from all walks of life, from every section of the city. We are not your typical neighborhood school. We are a combination of all the neighborhoods. We are truly a mixing bowl in the melting pot of America.

My Project

Headsets for our computers will create a very quiet personalized learning environment. During parts of our learning time, my students work at the at their own pace, on their own special projects and programs on their own chromebook. However, a slight problem is all the ​noise from everyone's computer can be distracting. Personal headsets will alleviate this noise and distraction problem and allow my students to focus on their personal learning. Another reason for ordering these durable headsets is to help support my families. Good headsets are expensive and sometimes unaffordable for some of my families. With a set of 26 headsets, every child will be comfortable and able to access their learning.
