My Students

My classroom is a place of exploration. The students work all year to build their skills in sharing, communicating, reading, writing, math and science. They are curious, creative and full of energy!

Many of my students are excited to be in school for the first time and are eager to engage in fun activities.

As a teacher in a low income and high poverty school district, I want to be able to create a meaningful school experience for my students.

My Project

My students need headphones that are safe. Wires can go around my students neck and cause a safety hazard. My students are very young and are constantly unplugging the wires. This causes a distraction for other students as well.

Can you imagine untangling headphones everyday?

Untangling headphones takes a lot of time! Wireless headphones would require no time to untangle; therefore, leaving more time to teach. Also, students can put them away independently.

A good set of headphones means that students will be able to hear the sounds that letters make when using learning games online. This is very important when learning how to read!
