My Project
I am a special education teacher that provides academic and social skills support for students with a variety of challenges ranging from learning disabilities to autism to emotional disabilities. Many of these students have sensory needs or attention deficits that make them crave physical movement or tactile or sensory input. The stability wobble cushions, the wiggle wobble chair feet, and the bouncy bands for desks provide ergonomic movement, expel excess energy and allow for continuous movement to increase blood flow to the brain. They help students stay calm to improve learning.
