This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many students arrive at school hungry and unable to focus during classes. As days have been getting colder, more students have been visiting the library cold and hungry. I would like to provide these students with something nutritious that will help them get ready to do and feel their best.

In this project, I have requested a variety of protein-filled snacks and lunch items that can be heated for students in need.

I have requested snack packs, protein bars, and soup cups that can help the students get warm. Every student needs to have what they need to be successful at school and food insecurity should never be an issue to hold a child back.
