Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My readers are working hard to build stamina and confidence. I am implementing a weekly celebration for their reading accomplishment. Healthy, individually wrapped snacks will serve as safe, motivating rewards for meeting reading goals. Your support will help students stay focused with new headphones, celebrate growth, and keep turning pages!
My bilingual students are determined readers who are building their language skills and I am building their reading habits with confidence every day.
Many of my students have to balance responsibilities at home and they also have to cop with school work; and some come to class hungry. When basic needs are met, they can focus on their academic work that it is what really matters.
