My Students
My students are bright and eager to challenge their minds. They look forward to coming to school to learn something new everyday. They love to read and talk about what they learn. I have a very diverse class and it's great to see my students learning from each other regardless of race, gender, ethnicity and social class. These students deserve the opportunity to expand their knowledge. Thank you for taking the time to support these wonderful children. We will appreciate any support you can provide.
My Project
My class schedule allows for a morning snack time. Parents are encouraged to provide healthy snacks. If our classroom had its own mini fridge, my students would be able to refrigerate healthy snacks like yogurt, hummus and string cheese for snack time. The microwave will assist with warming the students food for snack/lunch time and for fun food experiments performed in the classroom.
Integrating technology with academic curriculum, students will use the iPad and headphones to supplement their lessons with fun educational programs like MobyMax and Read Theory.
When students enjoy learning, they retain the information better.
