Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students deserve a fresh and clean classroom so lysol wipes and essential oil will allow this to happen. The markers, pens, and chart paper will help students to create charts, drawing of pictures, notice and wonder table, and many other things needed as a visual for them to do a gallery walk for math and science. After teaching for over twenty years, I know that if a child is hungry, he or she may not be able to focus on a lesson that is being taught. All of my students get free breakfast and lunch due to the low income level of our population and their living conditions.

No child should be hungry and even though they get fed at school, I try to make sure they get a snack as well so that they go home with a little something in their stomach.
