Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The high majority of our students come from low-income households. Our school gave them stability, a positive place to learn, and love, among other things. Unfortunately, they are now at their homes and we haven't been physically together in well over a month. I worry about them often and I hope, with the help of you and DonorsChoose, that I can help them from a distance.
My Project
I carefully selected healthy snacks and drinks so as to put my students in the best position to succeed while they are learning at home. The snacks I selected are from a company called Simple Mills and they only use real food ingredients in the products. The drinks I selected are from the Honest Kids company, and they only use fruit juice and water in their products. If this project were to be funded, these healthy snacks and drinks would be shipped right to the door of a student who could really use it.
