This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project is requesting healthy snacks for my kids who come to school hungry. There are so many young learners with food insecurity. The snacks will fill their tummy so they can focus on learning.

The many Nature Valley granola bars you are funding will not only feed their stomach so they can focus on learning, hopefully it will also lead them to learning about and enjoying healthy snacks.

This project is important to me because I want my students to be well rounded scholars in mind and body. This lesson is not only for the now but an ongoing lesson for their future.
