This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Students in my class come with a wide range of abilities, interests, and needs. In our integrated classroom, we respect and understand that each individual is different yet equally important. We all work hard, and we are excited and eager to learn.
My students understand that in our class, everyone gets what they need to be successful.
One common goal we all share is a motivation for learning in a fun, comfortable, and engaging classroom environment. With this, we can meet the needs of all the different learners at the same time.
My Project
Students in our fifth-grade classroom are requesting healthy options for snacks such as granola bars and KIND bars of all different flavors. Our students bring in snacks every day, but most of the time, it isn't the healthiest snack. We want to encourage students to eat snacks that are healthy, convenient, and will give our students the energy they need to get through the day.
We would like to add some healthy snacks for our students!
We recently were able to get a snack project funded for snacks and it was a huge hit. Our students really enjoyed them and we hope we can get them again! Thank you for your support.
