This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Every aspect of the school environment plays a crucial role in a student’s ability to learn and thrive. One often overlooked element is nutrition, particularly in the form of healthy snacks.

Providing snacks in the classroom does more than just satisfy hunger; it fuels young minds.

Research shows that proper nutrition is directly linked to improved concentration, higher energy levels, and better overall cognitive function. When students are nourished, they are more engaged, ready to participate, and able to absorb new information.

By providing a small, nutritious break during the school day, we can help reduce stress and anxiety, allowing students to refocus and approach their studies with renewed vigor.

Your support in providing snacks will not only meet a basic need but will also enhance my students’ learning experiences and academic success. Together, we can ensure that students have the resources they need to thrive.
