Healthy Snacks for Healthy 4th Grade Scientists and Engineers!

Help me give my students healthy snacks, like apple sauce pouches and Goldfish crackers, to stay focused on our studies and build classroom community.

My Project

My students are active learners and eager to come to school. Students who are hungry are too focused on when they will be eating next to pay attention to the important things going on in the classroom. By giving my students snack time, they will stay more focused on their studies. Snack time is something that my students look forward to.

In our classroom, we are focused on our whole-body health.

Part of my job, as an educator, is to teach my students good life habits, such as eating healthy foods and staying active. This coming school year, our 4th grade lunchtime is really late in our day--my students would appreciate having something to tide them over until their mid-day meal. I've included applesauce, fruit leather, Goldfish, and Pirate's Booty--all snacks that my students enjoy.
