Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I work with students with special needs with various special education classifications, including emotional disturbance, learning disabilities, and autism. In addition, many of my students come from impoverished homes. Despite these challenges, my kids come to school every day eager and willing to learn.
We are requesting a variety of healthy snacks to eat after gym class.
My students engage in basketball, volleyball, floor hockey, running, badminton, and many other sports during gym class. After their intense workouts, many of my kids are starving. I would love to provide them with some snacks to keep them going.
