This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are very motivated and eager to learn. They come from low-income households and do not have access to healthy snacks. The students come to school each day wanting to learn more. These snacks will be used to give each student something before going home each day.

The best way for students to be ready to learn each day is to make sure they are not hungry.

Healthy snacks also help students develop lifelong healthy eating habits and prevent certain chronic diseases. Healthy eating will become a lifestyle for them.
