My Project

This project will help create a calming, movement-friendly space that supports both mental health and physical well-being. I’m requesting essential tools to help students develop emotional regulation, build body awareness, and feel safe in their learning environment. With your support, our classroom will receive:

• Sensory and calming tools like weighted lap pads, fidget items, soft lighting, and cozy seating

• Movement materials such as yoga mats, bean bags, and balance equipment to promote physical activity and brain breaks

• Books and visuals that teach mindfulness, emotional vocabulary, and self-awareness

• Games and activities that support cooperation, empathy, and emotional expression

These resources will help us create a calming corner, encourage healthy movement throughout the day, and integrate social-emotional learning into daily routines. With access to these tools, students will learn how to manage stress, stay focused, and build the emotional resilience needed to succeed.

Build confidence in themselves

Early childhood is when foundational habits and emotional patterns are formed. With the right supports in place, children learn how to learn—how to ask for help, bounce back from challenges, and take care of their bodies and minds.

This project will help transform our classroom into a space where all students feel safe, supported, and ready to grow—academically, socially, and emotionally.
