My Students

Our neighborhood school serves close to 800 students. We have a mixed demographics in this area and see a wide range of students from diverse backgrounds.

Due to the ever-changing needs of students and to promote a healthy student body, it is necessary for students to stay hydrated throughout their school day.

Water should be considered as an essential nutrient that the body needs.

Water helps maintain a healthy balance of body fluids, energizes muscles, and improves mood. Students are in school about 7 1/2 hours out of the day, and studies show that most students show up to school already dehydrated. Increasing a student's water intake can help students maintain balance and promote healthy living for their future.

My Project

Students will be able to increase productivity with fewer out of seat requests and stay hydrated throughout their school day. Studies have shown that most students arrive to school already in the primary stages of dehydration. Water can be considered as necessary nutrient in order to promote healthy body functions.

Proper hydration has multiple health benefits and promotes a healthy lifestyle for a student's future.

Water does not only energize the body's muscles, it also improves mood. Providing students with access to filled water bottles promotes higher water consumption and allows students to focus on what matters most, their education.
