Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I have been teaching my students different ways to read numbers for example... numeral numbers. Although my students aren't there yet, it will still be nice to give them a visual aid as to why it's used. Having a clock will help my visual learners. We also prepare many healthy meals with our science lessons. With the pressure cooker and air fryer liners, follow up on those lessonscan take place. I created a space where they could keep track of time while helping me prepare an activity. In the fall we make apple butter and we roast pumpkin seeds by taking them out of a pumpkin after our first trip of the year to the pumpkin patch farm. This is done mostly during whole-group instruction. We could also use the swifter wet jet mop, clean up will become easy to do after a healthy meal lesson.
