Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love my students for their resilience, curiosity, and determination to learn despite facing challenges. Many come from low-resource backgrounds, and having snacks in the classroom ensures they stay focused and engaged instead of being distracted by hunger. A well fed student is a ready to learn student, and these snacks will provide the energy they need to actively participate in lessons. My goal for this project is to create a nurturing environment where every child has the sustenance to fuel their learning and reach their full potential. My students are special because they never let obstacles define them they show up every day eager to grow, and I want to support them in every way possible.
