Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have a group of highly motivated students who thirst to learn science and math. They work tirelessly to grasp math and science concepts due to the strains experienced by COVID-19. COVID and its many strands continue to create obstacles for my students but they continue to keep pushing forward.
My students show up everyday ready to learn and put their best foot forward to follow class/school rules and set examples for others to follow.
They are not strangers to hard work and even with the barriers surrounding them, they put their best foot forward on a daily basis. They are a group of eager beavers who are not afraid to face a challenge.
My Project
Exposing my students to lifelong learning activities is a priority in my classroom. Student growth and academic achievement rank at the top of the spectrum and to reach our daily goals students have to feel safe.
Feeling Healthy inside and out is paramount for my students overall success!
Providing a safe clean environment for students to learn and grow involves keeping surfaces clean throughout the day and during afterschool tutoring. Healthy snacks go hand in hand with a clean environment.
Students learn better when they are healthy inside (emotionally) and outside.
