Technology is a key tool to help with communication in my classroom. Many of my students are only exposed to the English language when they come to my science and math class. Math and science are subjects that are taught totally in English and as a result many of my students struggle with vocabulary. The ability to expose my students to vocabulary building activities through iPads helps not only prepare them for daily class activities and requirements but life in general. Understanding vocabulary and exposure to technology are a key component for success in my math and science classroom. The ability to expose students to hands on learning that will be conducted during small groups, station activities, and tutoring allows them valuable opportunity. Vocabulary assistance and exposure to math and science skill building activities and videos will be the focus of this very valuable resource.
