This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are a mixture of English and Spanish speakers, attending a two-way immersion program. They learn in both languages each day, always showing their busy bee, "bee-lingual" pride! I work as a reading specialist to support students in English phonics, fluency, and comprehension.

As the year goes on, we start to run low on supplies like tissues and wipes.

Nevertheless, I and other teachers at my school have different groups of students in our rooms throughout the day. With the ongoing health concerns in today's world, we need to make sure that our materials stay clean and germ-free. These Seventh Generation disinfecting wipes, kid-safe hand sanitizer, and Kleenex tissues will help keep us healthy and happy!
