Your donation has made a real difference in our classroom, and I am very grateful for your help.\r\n\r\nThe new technology is helping my students learn in many important ways. It allows them to write, reflect, and share their ideas more easily and creatively. Students are now able to combine writing with images and digital tools, which helps them stay engaged and better understand what they are learning. Technology also supports different learning styles and gives students more confidence in expressing themselves.\r\n\r\nWhat excites my students the most about this new product is that learning feels more interactive and personal. They enjoy creating their own digital journals and seeing their progress over time. Using technology makes their work feel meaningful and modern, and it motivates them to do their best.\r\n\r\nSome students have especially warmed to this new technology, particularly those who previously found writing difficult or were less confident in class. With digital tools, they feel more comfortable experimenting, revising their work, and sharing their ideas. I have seen students become more enthusiastic, independent, and proud of their learning.\r\n\r\nThank you again for believing in our students and supporting their educational journey. Thanks to your generosity, we now have new resources that we use daily to strengthen our students' learning. These materials have been integrated into our reading, writing, and math lessons, allowing us to work in a more engaging, visual, and hands-on way. One especially meaningful moment was when students used the resources for the first time during a small-group activity; they were motivated, curious, and fully engaged in their learning.\r\n\r\nThe students' reaction when they first saw the materials was truly heartwarming. Their faces lit up with excitement, and many shared their joy through smiles, applause, and comments like, \"This is for us!\" For many of them, these resources represent a new and meaningful opportunity to learn in a more concrete and fun way. They feel valued, important, and motivated to do their very best each day in the classroom.\r\n\r\nThanks to your support, our next steps include continuing to develop collaborative projects, reinforcing foundational skills, and fostering a love of learning from an early age. Firstly, my students were held at a higher standard. They were expected to achieve several objectives on their own. The students had to choose a book about an artist. They had to read the book, take notes, and make sketches for their final project. I reviewed with them how to take notes as well as make several sketches for their final project. I reminded them that they are not to copy the words or artwork. Therefore, some skills that the students learned during this lesson were to organize their thoughts and ideas through sketches and words. \r\n\r\nOnce they had their notes and sketches, they were to choose a medium for their project, such as printing, watercolor, or tempera paint. The students really loved to be able to learn on their own by choosing the artist and medium for this project. These opportunities gave my students the responsibility of middle school or high school students. \r\n\r\nAfter the work was completed, the students were able to share what they learned about the artists, medium, and themselves with the rest of the class. \r\nI am very pleased with this lesson. The objective of this lesson was for students to read and learn about someone or something new, and this was definitely achieved.","fullyFundedDate":1760830404408,"projectUrl":"project/art-history-through-the-eyes-of-a-child/9825131/","projectTitle":"Art History through the Eyes of a Child","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Pfister","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9901624_orig.jpg?crop=1200,1200,x0,y76&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1741873220451","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/ms-d-pfister"},{"teacherId":8924322,"projectId":9824008,"letterContent":"Thank you for contributing to my project. The new materials and resources have transformed our classroom into an interactive science lab where students can observe, record, and discuss their discoveries in both English and Spanish. They're not just learning vocabulary — they're developing real-world connections between language and science, seeing how both work together to help them express curiosity and wonder.\r\n\r\nThe new tools have sparked a sense of excitement and ownership in their learning. Students love using magnifying lenses, observation trays, and digital tools to study plant-pollinator interactions up close. Even students who were once hesitant to speak in class now proudly present their discoveries, mixing both languages to explain what they've observed.\r\n\r\nOne of the most heartwarming changes has been seeing how this project has inspired teamwork and creativity.
