My students are happy learners. However, our school day is extended to almost 4 pm. I want my students to feel good mentally and emotionally. I know that healthy snacking and mental breaks help during the school day.
This year I desire to get them thriving and learning throughout the day with the use of a healthy snack.
With the long school day, the students must have an opportunity to snack and socialize with their classmates. Having healthy snack options will afford this opportunity for my students.
Students will have the opportunity to enjoy reading while having a snack with their classmates. This opportunity with the help of DonorsChoose will take place daily.
