Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Teaching middle school students, I notice that they work better when they are comfortable. Giving them a bean bag will help maintain student engagement with the differential seating option. It will increase peer interaction and social engagement. While using a projector for teaching, the sound is low. The speaker will help increase the audio for all of my students, especially those with learning disabilities. The snacks will help with my lesson on reading nutrition labels, counting calories, and increasing their awareness of healthy eating. Cleaning wipes help keep a healthy and clean classroom environment and reduce student illness while maintaining student attendance for learning.
