Healthy Habit Mighty Matys

Help me give my students healthy snacks, cleaning supplies for a healthy classroom and notebooks for math review, one lesson a day.

My Students

My students are adorable, so full of life and eager to learn. They are excited about being in school, they are ready to be “Mighty Maty’s”. My students are from a low socioeconomic status and are free or reduced lunch. They wear uniforms so we don’t judge others for what we don’t have. They show up everyday with a smile and they know I will do the same for them. This new school year is going to be full of new adventures for all of us.

My Project

I need to provide math notebooks for my students daily review lessons. They copy from the board and participate in groups to solve the problems. We also have a very long afternoon and they get hungry. Our cafeteria no longer allows them to take food out of the cafeteria to save for a snack for later so I’d like to provide a few items when they get “hangry”. Along with a healthy class, it’s important to have a clean classroom. Cleaning up after ourselves teaches responsibility. I’d like to provide all these items for my students while teaching life lessons.
