Healthy Food Choices & Organization

Help me give my students Science storage cubes that are clear so they can see materials faster, a side table for tissues/hand sanitizer, and snacks/stickers/fidgets.

My Project

My students are motivated to learn and grow. They work great in small groups and are very supportive of each other. The small rectangular table will be placed by our classroom door. It will allow them to use hand sanitizer before they sit down to learn. Their tissues will also be stored on it so they can step outside and privately blow their nose.

The clear storage bins will be used for their Science supplies so students can have more hands-on experience with each lesson.

It will also help me give my students more independence and teach them to be organized. They will be able to gather the supplies they need for each investigation and they will be responsible for restocking their bins for the next class (Supplies are located in our main closet.)

The snacks will be used for students who are hungry and need an extra snack. Fidgets and Emoji's will be used for students who need to calm their test anxiety or for students who are having a rough day. Students LOVE puffy stickers on their exit tickets. I give every student who tries to solve the problem a sticker. I don't base it on if they answer is correct. It is based on effort and 100% of my students earn at least 2 stickers each day. Most of them collect them and put them on their notebooks.

The math games will be a great addition to our math centers. It allows students the choice of which game to play based on their ability. Our focus has been fractions and place value so these games will be greatly appreciated!
