This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The things that I love about my students are they are compassion and honest. A lot of my students come from a not so successful household where money is very limited. Many of them lack the opportunity to indulge and enjoy snacks at home. As an educator I would like to give my students the opportunity to enjoy healthy snacks without feeling guilty. Showing and telling my students about how to eat healthy and choosing healthy snacks can prevent a lot of diseases. I let my students know that it is okay to ask for a snack or food when they are hungry. I am not just an educator, but I am somebody who cares about the well being of students and others. This project will be used to help students that are hungry.
