Healthy Classroom

Help me give my students students keep a healthy and safe learning environment during the pandemic.

My Students

The population my school serves are mostly minority students comprised of 70% Black Non-Hispanic (a vast majority of these are of Haitian-Creole descent), 22% Hispanic, 5% White Non-Hispanic, and 3% Asian/Indian/Multiracial.

We are designated as a Title I school which means the majority of our students receive free or reduced lunch.

They are gifted and advanced students and are part of a science based magnet program.

My students have a love for learning. I hope to provide all their necessary needs to be successful.

My Project

As we are ready to start another school year amidst a pandemic, it is important that are students are healthy and safe. We have to urge our students to keep up with their personal hygiene. Handwashing habits and how to disinfect their work area need to be established in order to reduce the spread of germs. This will allow a safer learning environment so that students can flourish.

By donating to my class project, you will be provided necessary materials to keep them and their environment safer from harmful germs.

The donation of hand sanitizing and cleaning materials will provide the students with the necessary tools to feel safer in their learning environment.
