it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Healthy students are happy students and happy students learn to read and write better!
My 35 amazing students are bright and curious children, who are becoming more independent each day!
My students attend a high poverty, public, elementary school in Pennsylvania. We are a Title One, low income school. Since many of our students come from a home where food is not always plentiful, all students are served breakfast in the classroom. We are heavily populated with English Language Learners. Having such a large ELL population makes each classroom very diverse and full of life, but it also comes with a fair share of challenges.
My Project
My students will be able to learn and thrive in a germ-free environment! With the new budget cuts, the custodial staff has been affected tremendously. Its hard not to notice, the cleanliness of our school has diminished. We are trying to do our part to keep our classroom clean and our school family healthy!
By having the supplies, we will be able to read, write, and create and solve problems in a clean classroom. We will be reading and writing to our highest academic level without having to worry about not having tissues for our sneezes, and proper supplies to keep us at top health!
Our classroom will definitely be changed for the better with the funding of this project.
