My Students

The middle school students I work with come from all different backgrounds. Each one of them desires success; many just lack the tools and support needed to break through the barriers they face. My students have an amazing deal of resiliency and drive.

My Project

Students will have the opportunity to participate in yoga during TAG (Toros Achieving Growth) Time to help center themselves to continue learning for the day.

School and learning can be stressful so allowing students to participate in yoga will allow them to refocus their minds and bodies to continue about their day productively.

Many of our students face a multitude of challenges in their daily home and school life and need healthy ways to cope with their stressors. Yoga is one of the ways students will have the opportunity to do so, all while attending school.
