My Project
Many of the families I serve with young children struggle to afford enough diapers and other essential needs to keep their children clean, dry and healthy. My goal is to meet the unmet basic needs of Baltimore’s most vulnerable young children through the distribution of diapers and other essential items to reduce stress, depression, and barriers for families. Many of the students I serve are globally delayed and by alleviating the cost of diapers and essential needs it would allow families to focus on their children’s specific developmental needs (i.e. cognitive, language, social emotional, and adaptive).
