Healthy and Wealthy

My students need Lysol wipes, Purell hand sanitizer, Kleenex tissues, Lysol spray and a broom to help keep the classroom clean. These items are much needed to make sure that most germs are eliminated.

Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are in grades six through eight. They are students who enjoy learning and look at school as a second home at times.

My students are enthusiastic learners who want to succeed in school and in life.

They are inner city students who are very hard workers. Although more than eighty percent of them are qualify for free lunch (living below the poverty level), they come to school with great attitudes and a zeal to win!

They just need the support to continue this winning attitude and hopefulness.

My Project

These materials will make a huge difference in my students' lives and learning. First of all, if my students are healthy, their attendance can be great. Great attendance leads to being in school everyday to gain a wealth of knowledge which can cause success in their lives. Hence, the title "Healthy and Wealthy."

My students can come to school and have access to needed supplies that the school's budget may not be able to cover.

My students will have access to Kleenex tissue all the time. My students will, also, have Purell hand sanitizer at their disposal whenever they need to use it. Likewise, with the Lysol wipes my students' desk can be wiped down on a daily basis to cut down on germs thriving on surfaces. The Lysol spray will be used to keep the air clean. Finally, the broom will be use to keep the classroom clean throughout the day. These are all essential tools that can only help towards my students succeeding in school.
