This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are curious and energized when they are healthy, but with so many students in a small space we need supplies to keep from getting sick.

The tissues and sanitizer from this project will help my students keep good hygiene and help them to stay healthy so they can stay present in school.

We use so many tissues that we can run out easily which means students may need to leave class to get tissues from the bathroom or other spaces. If we had our own supply students would be able to stay in class. With the upcoming allergy season I am particularly worried about not having enough supplies to support student need. Funding from this project would really help to prevent this issue.
